Once devoted to the brewing of the local firewater, Medronho, now The Still has been lovingly restored using the original structure, materials and Portuguese style to offer a neat self-contained apartment. A wood-floored mezzanine assessed by an elegant ‘floating’ staircase, creates a comfortable double sleeping space, furnished with classic Portuguese furniture. The Still opens onto the farm’s kitchen garden and a view over the hills right down to the city of Portimao. Guests are welcome to explore the garden, terraces, and natural pools of the property – a chance to become “still”, and relax in the heart of Nature.
